Our little ones won’t stay little forever—no matter how much we’d like them to. They’ll grow up, go to school, move away, find partners, and develop interests beyond ours.
My immediate family photography sessions in Ottawa freeze these fleeting moments in time, allowing us to hold on to our favourite people just a little while longer (even when we no longer can).
Milestones, going away to school, Mother’s Day, anniversaries, birthdays and “just because” are all perfect reasons to wrangle everyone together for a family photography session to create those sought-after family photos that you (or Mom) want and wish for (but everyone resists taking!). Don't worry: if someone in the group isn’t a huge fan of the camera, I know just how to guide them with a sense of humour and direction. (They WILL crack a genuine smile!)

Your Ottawa family photography experience with JEMMAN Photography begins with us connecting about how you’d like your family photographed, the best location and how to prepare for your photoshoot. You’ll receive a booking with all the necessary details for a smooth, stress-free shoot and a non-refundable retainer will be collected to lock in your date.

About 2–3 weeks after your Ottawa family photography session (a little longer during peak periods), your images will be ready to view. You’ll receive a curated gallery of the best photos in a personalized online gallery, or you can enjoy a guided studio viewing session where you’ll have the opportunity to select your favourite images and purchase additional print products.

Session DIGITALs, Prints & Wall Art
Session digitals are the minimum spend for all Ottawa family photography sessions and include all of the best edited images of the session in high resolution with print release. Investment: $395 - $595 + hst
Professional printing and custom wall art is also available through my full-service portrait studio starting at $50 + hst for a keepsake 8x10.

Weekends disappear first with families literally booking months and seasons in advance. I have most flexibility for weekday sessions. When you know you’d like to book, reach out as soon as possible for best availability and to lock in your preferred dates.
Yes, I travel (time and mileage rates may apply) if you'd like to include a favourite or meaningful location for your session. I have some favourite locations that I will recommend to you based on the type of session you're booking and your numbers. I always prioritize the quality of "light" over location because that makes ALL the difference in your photos!
Not to worry, photographing camera-shy or reluctant subjects – at any age -- is truly one of my specialties. I will make the process quick and painless for everyone (you included) with fun, positive, successful results.

Careful! Sometimes, despite the best of intentions, those digitals end up sitting in a drawer or computer, never to see the light of day. As a full-service print studio, I can also handle the professional printing if you’re looking for something special to hang on your wall.
