CEREMONY & RECEPTION LOCATIONS: THE GROUNDS AT STRATHMERE
Strathmere Weddings offers you a few different options for ceremony and reception sites. You can choose from:
- The Lodge – a 150 year old restored barn with cathedral ceilings, chandeliers, 2nd floor loft and 24 foot limestone fireplace. This site is optimal if you have a large wedding.
- The Farmhouse – an 1860’s fieldstone farmhouse with sweeping circular staircase, romantic window alcove (that is very popular for wedding photography) and Heritage Garden. This site is best suited if you plan to have an intimate gathering.
- The Garden House – a bright, cheerful long-room with limestone fireplace and bright, airy feel with views of the fields and orchards. The Garden House is the perfect choice if your wedding is more casual.
Each site offers you a designated outdoor ceremony option and indoor ceremony option in case of rain. Outdoor ceremony sites can also double as your first dance site under the stars – which I personally love.
