Adelina Barn Wedding Venue is a private property in Gatineau Quebec. It is a popular Ottawa wedding venue. The barn, lovingly named “Adelina” after the family’s paternal grandmother, is located about 20 minutes from Ottawa. It can host intimate weddings of up to 85 people, May to October. The property is surrounded by 53 acres of fields and forests. It is a secluded, natural wedding oasis for couples and their intimate weddings. Getting Ready and Accommodations
You can book a convenient on-site Bridal Suite at Adelina Barn Wedding Venue. While it doesn’t offer overnight accommodations, it can be the perfect place to get ready with hair, makeup, bubbly and snacks with up to 8 of your favourite people.
For hotel accommodations, the popular Hilton Lac Leamy is 15 minutes away. It offers an alternate getting ready location for larger wedding party numbers or overnight accommodations for yourself and your guests.
Parking is extremely limited at Adelina Barn. Furthermore, couples are encouraged to rent shuttle buses for their guests’ safety and convenience.
Because of her numbers and guests from out of town, both Melissa and Matt opted to get ready at the Delta hotel in Ottawa.

The open fields and wooded trails offer endless romantic options. Also, everything is within short walking distance. Nothing beats the barn for photo opportunities. The 2nd floor loft is a favourite for intimate indoor photos. The window overlooking the gardens is also a favourite spot. Your photographer will think this venue is a dream.

Ceremony Locations
The lovingly restored two-storey open concept barn has an attractive covered pergola patio. It is a rain backup ceremony location. The designated outdoor ceremony location with its step-up ceremony spot, unique wooden arches, and custom-made reclaimed benches is the most popular outdoor ceremony location at Adelina Barn Wedding Venue.
Reception
The versatile, beautifully landscaped, two-story open concept barn will be the site of your dinner reception. It is fully equipped with tables, chairs and additional furniture. It can seat weddings up to 85 people. The Urban Element and Thyme and Again are Adelina Barn Wedding Venue’s preferred caterers. They offer guest an unparalleled dining experience. You can enjoy cocktails from the rustic bar. You can enjoy them in the shade of the covered pergola or amidst the many landscaped gardens or seating areas. Additionally, the Adelina Café-Bar Trailer is an option to serve up cocktails, specialty coffees, late-night snacks or even oysters. A fire pit with ambient bistro lighting is available for those quiet late-evening gatherings around the fire.
