The Brookstreet Hotel is literally around the corner from The Marshes wedding venue, making for an extremely convenient getting ready location.
An overnight stay at The Brookstreet with upgrades is included for the newlyweds – as well as breakfast in the morning at the Ironstone Grill at The Marshes.
As an additional perk, The Brookstreet Hotel offers special guestroom rates for anyone attending your wedding.
A complimentary shuttle bus is available between The Marshes wedding venue and guests of The Brookstreet Hotel.
CEREMONY LOCATION
The outdoor ceremony site is set amongst the shade of towering hardwood trees with views of the greens and the Clubhouse. You and your wedding party will enjoy a dramatic walk down the long laneway to the ceremony site. That same walk is especially pretty in the fall when it is lined with golden leaves.
Depending on your numbers, the Clubhouse fireplace location can double as an indoor ceremony site in case of poor weather or colder months.
RECEPTION
The 27,000 square foot Clubhouse will host your wedding reception. There is an atmosphere of style and warmth to The Marshes wedding venue: The Clubhouse has exposed post-and-beams, magnificent stonework and a rugged fireplace. (I personally love using the ceiling and wall light fixtures for creative inspiration in photos – especially for your first dance!) The outdoor patios overlooking the greens give serene panoramic views and offer a place to escape for a little bit of quiet during the festivities.
For easy decor setup, The Marshes wedding venue typically includes classic white table linens, china, flatware, glassware, tea light candles, table numbers and stands, a display easel for your seating plan, gift table, cake table and pre-dinner high cocktail tables. You can custom-design room setups. Dramatic swinging glass doors can make for a fun Grand Entrance to your reception.
You can use one of the smaller event rooms on site as a bridal waiting area pre-ceremony and for storage to avoid clutter of the main room.
