I first visited the grounds of Le Belvedere in 2015 for a styled shoot. I knew then that something spectacular was on the horizon for this unique cliffside wedding venue overlooking the Gatineau Hills. Add-ons or expansions over the years and an ever-growing professional team have now made Le Belvedere weddings one of Ottawa’s most sought after, multiple award-winning wedding venues.
LE BELVEDERE’S ICONIC CLIFFSIDE CEREMONY SITE
Le Belvedere’s outdoor wedding ceremony site with its signature curved canopy and cliffside views overlooking the Gatineau Hills has become an iconic site for Ottawa weddings and events.
Your guests will be wowed with views of rolling hills at every turn as they enjoy the cliffside terrace and deck, lounge seating and outdoor bar.
Some couples add floral accents and drape the canopy, However, the surrounding views and landscape truly offer all the natural décor required. Vintage aisle lanterns lead the way to the ceremony space. Rustic antique tables are available for signing and gifts.
In case of rain, a designated indoor ceremony room is available that still provides stunning views.

GETTING READY & ACCOMMODATIONS
Included in Le Belvedere wedding packages is The Guest House. The Guest House is a 3-suite on-site house that can provide overnight accommodation for 8 – 10 guests. Access to the exquisite Bridal Suite on wedding day makes getting ready extremely convenient. And the surrounding areas are perfect for your first looks!
Accommodations are also available exclusively for Le Belvedere weddings at the nearby Wakefield Grand. The Wakefield Grand is a beautiful French Country / Austrian architecture inn nestled among six acres of forest and pond in nearby Wakefield.

You’ll have exclusive use of the state-of-the-art Le Belvedere to host your party.

Chandeliers, twinkle lights and votive tea lights create a warm evening ambience indoors and out. Bonus: the Le Belvedere wedding team are first-class experts at executing a stellar first-dance under the stars with sparklers. (It’s harder than you think; #IYKYK) Weather permitting, you can also enjoy a late-evening campfire for those tete-a-tete conversations away from the partying crowd.
For dining, your guests will enjoy a gourmet three-course meal prepared on site by Le Belvedere’s executive chef. With over 25 years of experience, Chef Frank uses only the freshest and finest quality ingredients with as many locally sourced options as possible. Starting with a complimentary meal tasting, his goal is to make sure you and your guests enjoy a Le Belvedere wedding meal you will never forget. Pastry Chef Michelle is another reason why Le Belvedere weddings are so well known for their food. Along with bar manager, Gilles, their aim is to please the palate and feed the fun!
